The 22k bees were inspired by ancient Egyptian jewelry. In ancient Egypt gold flies were given to the pharaoh's generals when they were victorious in battle as a symbol for "stinging" the enemy.

The bee pendants are available in 22k gold with small diamond and ruby stones. They will soon be available in a different format, using repousse and chasing techniques.

I have been studying this classical technique with master teacher Valentin Yotkov and have been inspired by using this ancient metalsmithing technique to expand my goldsmithing repertoire. I have also been working on a series of Greek and Roman head pendants in 24k, 22k, silver and copper.
