I
have designed a new collection of work using only one element, the Rosette*.
The rosette was worn in much of the jewelry of ancient Egypt, Ur, Greece
and Rome and used as an architectural design. It appears in many forms and
styles in antiquity. I simplified the design to its basic eight-petal form
and created an entire body of work.
The
exclusive first collection is offered in my trademark 22k gold and a platinum
sterling silver alloy. The pieces are available without stones or with
diamonds in various patterns which add a sprinkle of sparkle to the piece.
*
The rosette was generally a symbol for the sun; birth, death, rebirth,
indicating passages from one state of existence into another.
"The symbol of the rosette was used in ancient Mesopotamia for protection
and good luck."
